Johann Zarco recovers at Mandalika ahead of Australian GP

Johann Zarco secured a 13th-place finish at the Mandalika circuit after starting from 19th on the grid. Despite facing challenges with the Honda RC213V on the technical Indonesian track, Zarco utilized a measured approach to manage his pace and collect three points for the LCR Honda team.

Looking ahead to the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, Zarco expressed concerns regarding the competitiveness of his machinery. He noted that the high-speed corners of the Australian circuit may favor Aprilia, which has shown significant strength in fast sections recently. Zarco indicated that the stability required for Phillip Island could highlight the current limitations of the Honda bike compared to rivals like Aprilia.
