Johannesburg hosts industry summits to expand African market access

Johannesburg is hosting various industry-focused summits aimed at expanding market presence and professional connections within Africa.

The Cigar Culture Summit Africa 2026, organized by Messe Dortmund, brings together manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. The event features discussions on the development of the African cigar market, the role of women in the industry through a partnership with the SOTL Global Movement, and opportunities for local businesses to find international partners.

Additionally, Securex Africa 2027 is scheduled for June 1–3, 2027, at the Gallagher Convention Centre. Organized by Montgomery Group Africa, the expo will focus on connecting international and local suppliers with African buyers. The event will cover the security, safety, health, facilities, and fire sectors, with a specific emphasis on industries such as mining, manufacturing, agriculture, and real estate.
