John 5 Teams with Wednesday 13 for 2027 Tour, Debuts at Wacken Open Air
Guitarist John 5 announced that his solo project, The Creatures, will add vocalist Wednesday 13 for a summer‑fall 2027 touring season, marking the first time the band will feature a dedicated singer. The partnership will debut at Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival from July 28 to 31, 2027, with additional dates to be confirmed later. The setlist is slated to span songs from John 5’s past collaborations with Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Mötley Crüe and David Lee Roth, alongside material from his solo catalog.
John 5 said, “I’ve really missed playing these songs… having such an amazing showman as Wednesday 13 join me will ensure the performances are killer.” Wednesday 13 replied, “I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing the stage with John 5… I really can’t wait to get out on the road next year.” John 5, a guitarist with more than 30 years of experience and a member of Mötley Crüe, released his latest solo album “Ghost” in October 2025.
