John Bishop cancels North America tour due to ankle injury

Comedian John Bishop has cancelled his upcoming North American tour scheduled for October 2026 following a motorbike accident. The 59-year-old sustained a broken ankle during a ride with astronaut Tim Peake.

Bishop announced via social media that medical advice requires him to wear a medical air boot for six weeks, which prevents him from taking long-haul flights. The cancellation affects six scheduled dates in New York, Boston, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto.

Bishop expressed that he was ‘absolutely gutted’ about the situation but noted that he hopes to reschedule the dates in the future. Ticket holders will be contacted by their original point of purchase regarding refunds or updates.
