John Brennan compares Trump administration corruption to Vladimir Putin

Former CIA Director John Brennan has accused the Trump administration of corruption on a scale comparable to that of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking on MS NOW’s ‘Deadline,’ Brennan cited the wealth of the President and his family members as evidence of this level of corruption.

The allegations follow scrutiny regarding Donald Trump Jr.’s relationship with Umar Kremlev, the president of the International Boxing Association. Kremlev, who has ties to Putin and was recently awarded Russia’s Order of Friendship, reportedly financed post-wedding celebrations for Trump Jr. and Bettina Trump in the Bahamas.

Brennan noted that Kremlev’s close ties to the Russian president—including traveling with Putin to China—should raise counterintelligence concerns for the CIA, FBI, and the White House. He suggested that such relationships are often used by Russian interests to extract information or favors over time. Trump Jr. has described Kremlev as a friend and rejected suggestions of improper political implications.
