John C. Reilly expresses interest in returning for Marvel's Nova film

Actor John C. Reilly has expressed interest in reprising his role as Rhomann Dey for an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project centered on Nova. Reilly, who appeared as a member of the Nova Corps in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, noted that while he has not heard from Marvel since the production of the sequel, he remains hopeful for an opportunity to return to the franchise.

Marvel Studios has confirmed that a Nova film is in development, with a script being written by Michael Waldron, creator of ‘Loki’. The project aims to further explore the Nova Corps, a group that has seen varying depictions in the MCU compared to the original comic book source material, where characters utilize the ‘Nova Force’ and the Xandarian Worldmind.
