John Cabot University hosts training on orbital geopolitics

The Institute of Future and Innovation Studies (IFIS) at John Cabot University, in collaboration with PIUE and the Ordine dei Giornalisti del Lazio, held a professional training course in Rome titled ‘Controllare lo spazio per governare la Terra: spazio, potere e informazione nel nuovo ordine globale’.

The program addressed the growing importance of extra-atmospheric space as a critical infrastructure for modern society. Key areas of impact discussed include international financial transactions, satellite navigation, climate monitoring, and national defense.

Guido D’Ubaldo, President of the Ordine dei Giornalisti del Lazio, emphasized the necessity for media professionals to acquire technological and geopolitical expertise to accurately explain how orbital dynamics influence global politics, economics, and daily security to the public.
