John Cena advocates for WWE to host WrestleMania in London

John Cena is continuing his advocacy for WWE to host WrestleMania in London, stating that the city and its audience have “earned the right” to host the premier event. Speaking on the Off Menu podcast, the former sixteen-time world champion noted that while his current role within WWE is more relaxed, he remains a strong supporter of bringing the spectacle to the United Kingdom.

Cena highlighted the importance of expanding the event beyond North America, citing the upcoming WrestleMania in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a “proof of concept” for international hosting. He expressed enthusiasm for the energy and passion of the London crowd, noting his previous attempt to rally fans during the Money in the Bank event at the O2 in 2023.

While Cena continues to push the idea, the Mayor of London’s office previously indicated that while general discussions with WWE exist, there are currently no specific talks regarding hosting WrestleMania 2028 in the city.
