John Cena advocates for WrestleMania to be held in London

John Cena is continuing his advocacy for WWE to host WrestleMania in London. During an appearance on the podcast ‘Off Menu’ with Ed Gamble and James Acaster, the former WWE Champion reiterated his belief that the city has earned the right to host the organization’s premier annual event.

Cena cited the energy, passion, and enthusiasm of the British crowds as primary reasons for his stance. He noted that WrestleMania is a major ‘travel to event’ and highlighted London as an ideal international destination for fans to explore culture alongside the wrestling festivities.

While Cena acknowledged he has no official decision-making power regarding venue selection, he expressed hope that his influence might help bring the event to the UK. He pointed to the upcoming 2027 WrestleMania, which will be the first held outside of North America, as a ‘proof of concept’ for international expansion.
