John Cena shaves head for second hair transplant, speaks on male hair‑loss stigma

John Cena posted photos of his freshly shaved scalp as he prepared for a second round of follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplantation. He thanked hair‑restoration specialist Dr. Ken Anderson and the medical team in Georgia for guiding the procedure and explained that the shave gives the surgeon better visibility.

Cena said fan comments and mock‑signs calling him "the bald John Cena" pressured him to confront his hair‑loss concerns. He highlighted the broader shame men feel about thinning hair, noting that seven or eight out of ten men experience the condition. The wrestler‑turned‑actor also described his ongoing scalp‑care routine, which includes red‑light therapy, vitamins, minoxidil and finasteride, and expressed regret that he did not seek treatment earlier.
