John Cena to headline Middle East Film & Comic Con 2026 in Abu Dhabi

John Cena is set to headline the 2026 Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) in Abu Dhabi. The event will take place from September 11 to 13 at the ADNEC Centre.

Cena, a 17-time WWE World Champion and Hollywood actor, is scheduled to appear on September 12 and 13. Fans will have opportunities for autographs, photographs, and conversations through the convention’s ‘Meet the Stars’ experience.

He joins an international guest lineup that includes Mackenyu, known for his role in Netflix’s ‘One Piece’, and Finnish actor Joonas Suotamo, who portrayed Chewbacca in the ‘Star Wars’ sequel trilogy. Organizers expect more than 46,000 attendees for the 14th edition of the convention, which covers movies, television, anime, gaming, and cosplay.
