Elche CF completes squad overhaul with Lomónaco and Lemar signings

Elche CF has finalized several key squad changes following the close of the transfer market. The club secured Argentine defender Kevin Lomónaco from Independiente to bolster the defense. The deal for Lomónaco involves a transfer fee reported between 4 and 5.5 million dollars, with Elche acquiring a significant portion of his rights.

This move follows the departure of David Affengruber, who has transferred to Fulham in the English Premier League for a fee in the region of 12 million euros. To further strengthen the squad, Elche also secured the loan of French midfielder Thomas Lemar from Atlético de Madrid.

Additionally, RCD Mallorca has completed the signing of John Chetauya on loan from Elche, providing the Balearic club with a versatile defensive option. The squad updates reflect Elche's efforts to restructure the team for the upcoming season after significant alterations to the roster.
