John Cleese backs Rupert Lowe, claims some cultures are better

Cleese announced his support for Rupert Lowe, founder of the newly formed Restore Britain party, stating he trusts Lowe more than any other political leader. Lowe thanked him publicly for the endorsement.

Cleese’s remarks also criticised the term “Islamophobia,” describing it as a weapon against criticism of Islamic‑driven cultural practices.
