John Corabi says he has no communication with former Motley Crüe bandmate Nikki Sixx

Former Motley Crüe frontman John Corabi told This Day In Metal that he and bassist Nikki Sixx no longer speak, expressing disappointment that “there is no dialogue at all.”

Corabi recalled his tenure with the band from 1992 to 1996, a period marked by the rise of grunge and the commercial failure of the group's 1994 self‑titled album. He said the experience helped launch his career but also left him feeling emotionally attached to bandmates who were later dismissed.

He noted that he still talks occasionally with drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars, but maintains no contact with Sixx, describing the situation as “a little bit bums me out.”
