John Deere unveils 500R series sprayers for 2027 model year
John Deere has introduced updates to its 500R series sprayers for the 2027 model year, expanding the lineup to include three distinct models: the 540R with a 4,000-liter tank, the 550R with a 5,000-liter tank, and the 560R with a 6,000-liter tank.
A primary design feature is the front-mounted cabin positioned ahead of the front axle. This configuration utilizes technology adapted from John Deere combines and forage harvesters, featuring a large rear window, standard Category 4 air filtration, modified cabin suspension, and fifth-generation displays. To accommodate the forward cabin position, the machine utilizes a specialized damping system to ensure operator comfort.
The machinery also features adjustable wheel tracks to accommodate various cultivation technologies, with two available adjustment ranges: 1.80 to 2.50 meters and 2.00 to 2.70 meters. Each wheel is equipped with individual pneumatic suspension featuring a 15 cm stroke to compensate for terrain irregularities. This suspension works in conjunction with active boom stabilization to maintain spraying precision during field operations.
