John Goodman debuts 14-stone weight loss at ‘Digger’ premiere

Actor John Goodman appeared at the Los Angeles premiere of the film ‘Digger’ on Monday, showcasing a significant physical transformation. The 74-year-old actor has lost 14 stone (approximately 196 pounds) following a long-term struggle with alcohol.

Goodman, known for his role as Dan Conner on the sitcom ‘Roseanne’, previously noted that his weight had reached as high as 28.5 stone. He has attributed his health journey to sobriety and lifestyle changes, including cutting out sugar and implementing an intensive workout program.

At the premiere, Goodman attended alongside his wife of 36 years, Anna Beth. The film ‘Digger’, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, stars Tom Cruise and features Goodman in the role of President Compson.
