John Green returns to fiction with adult debut ‘Hollywood, Ending’

Author John Green is returning to fiction after a nine-year hiatus with his adult debut, ‘Hollywood, Ending’. The novel explores the complexities and personal costs of fame, focusing on characters navigating the film industry.

Green, known for bestselling young adult novels such as ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and ‘Looking for Alaska’, previously stepped away from fiction to focus on non-fiction and to manage the pressures of intense celebrity. His work has frequently been adapted for film and television. The new release aims to provide an honest look at the compromises required to achieve commercial success within the Hollywood machine.
