John McGuinness exhibition to celebrate 30 years at Isle of Man TT

A special exhibition and cinema will celebrate the 30-year career of Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness MBE during the Classic TT. Held at the Mercury Club near the Grandstand from August 19 to 28, the pop-up event will feature ten motorcycles that marked significant milestones in his racing history.

Key exhibits include the Honda RS250R from his 1996 debut, the Honda 250 from his first victory in 1999, and the 2007 Honda Fireblade used during his first 130mph lap. A special-edition 2026 Honda Fireblade has also been produced to commemorate the anniversary. The display will also include his iconic voodoo-themed helmets, racing leathers, and personal memorabilia.

In addition to the static displays, the event will feature cinema screenings of race footage and career highlights. Organizers have also announced the return of the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix WhatsApp Infoline for 2026, providing real-time updates on road closures and race schedules directly to spectators' devices.
