John McGuinness targets 2027 return to Isle of Man TT

British motorcycle racer John McGuinness has indicated his intention to continue competing in 2027. The 54-year-old Honda rider revealed in an interview with TNT Sports that his plans include participating in the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200, and selected rounds of the British Superbike Championship (BSB).

McGuinness, a 23-time Isle of Man TT winner, noted that while his role with Honda has expanded to include ambassadorial duties, his passion for racing remains a primary motivator. He expressed a desire to avoid ending his TT participation under a red flag, referencing the interrupted Senior race in 2026. He confirmed he will participate in testing sessions with the Honda team as part of his preparations for the upcoming season.
