Yukatel Denizli Basket has reached an agreement with American forward John Meeks to strengthen its wing rotation for the upcoming season. The 1.97-meter player is expected to provide scoring depth and a significant threat from beyond the three-point line.

Meeks, born in 1999, brings extensive international experience to the Turkish Basketball Super League, having previously played in Finland, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, and Israel. Most recently, he competed for Galatasaray MCT Technic during the 2025-26 season, where he averaged 6.61 points and 2.79 rebounds over 33 league games, maintaining a three-point shooting percentage of approximately 37%.

His familiarity with the Denizli defense is noted, as he previously recorded 17 points and 4 rebounds in a game against Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket during his tenure with Galatasaray.
