John Morgan achieves seventh No. 1 as songwriter
Kentucky native John Morgan has reached the top of the charts with his song ‘Kid Myself’. This achievement marks his seventh No. 1 hit as a songwriter and his second No. 1 as a performing artist.
In an interview with Taste of Country Nights, Morgan discussed the unique pressure of releasing his first single as a solo artist compared to his previous experience writing hits for other musicians, such as Jason Aldean. He noted that while he believed in the song wholeheartedly upon release, the ultimate connection with fans and radio remains unpredictable.
