John Summit cancels August festival dates to prepare for arena tour

DJ and producer John Summit has announced the cancellation of his remaining August tour dates to rest and prepare for his upcoming ‘CTRL ESCAPE’ arena tour. The decision results in his withdrawal from four European festivals: Pukkelpop in Belgium, Radio 1 Malta in Malta, Creamfields in the United Kingdom, and the Touquet Music Beach Festival in France.

Summit stated via social media that the break is necessary to ‘recharge my battery’ and manage the extensive workload required for his fall tour. The ‘CTRL ESCAPE’ tour, supporting his album of the same name, is set to be his largest production to date, featuring immersive stage concepts. The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to begin on October 1 in Champaign, Illinois, and will conclude on December 12 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
