John Summit to focus on music production and skip 2027 festivals

DJ and producer John Summit has announced plans to step away from the major EDM festival circuit in 2027. The move is intended to allow him to focus on studio work and producing club records after a demanding 2026 schedule.

Summit recently hosted the Experts Only Festival at Randall's Island Park in New York City, which drew approximately 30,000 attendees. The event featured a lineup including Adam Ten, Max Styler, and Subtronics.

Before his planned 2027 hiatus, Summit is set to embark on his CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour starting in October, with dates scheduled through December at major North American venues, including the United Center in Chicago and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
