John Torra named new lead singer for Quiet Riot

Rock band Quiet Riot has announced 23-year-old John Torra as their new lead singer. Torra, a vocalist from Long Island, was selected following an open call for singers that drew more than 700 submissions.

Torra gained significant attention after his audition videos went viral online. Band manager Regina Banali noted that the public response and support from various rock musicians made his selection feel almost inevitable. Torra’s vocal style has been noted for its similarity to the band’s late original frontman, Kevin DuBrow.

Before joining Quiet Riot, Torra performed with his own group, Fire ’N Ice. The band has scheduled upcoming live dates across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and several South American countries.
