John Travolta’s Saturday Night Fever suit heads to Los Angeles auction

Propstore is staging a four‑day live auction in Los Angeles from Aug. 26‑29, featuring more than 1,700 original film and TV props. The highlight is John Travolta’s three‑piece white suit from the 1977 dance‑drama Saturday Night Fever, which bears a handwritten inscription from the actor and was previously owned by film critic Gene Siskel. The suit is expected to fetch between $200,000 and $400,000.

Other notable items include the Frank the Rabbit costume from Donnie Darko, a screen‑matched mosquito‑in‑amber fossil from Jurassic Park, an original Golden Snitch from Harry Potter, Michael Keaton’s Batsuit from Batman Returns, a stunt axe from The Shining, and Tony Stark’s Iron Man Mark 46 upper‑body armor. The combined pre‑sale estimate for all lots is about $10 million.
