John Williamson and Meg Doyle share marriage insights and charity work

Australian country music star John Williamson and his wife, Meg Doyle, have shared insights into their long-lasting marriage, citing patience, sharing success, and spending time apart as key factors.

The couple, who have been together for 19 years and married for 13, originally bonded during the Variety Backyard Bash, a road convoy that raises money for sick children. They are currently preparing for the 2026 Variety Bash, which will travel from Western Sydney to Bathurst.

Both are frequent participants in the charity event; Doyle has participated 23 times and Williamson 15 times. Together, they have raised more than $300,000 for the cause.
