Johnny Bananas reflects on the death of Tyler Duckworth

Johnny Bananas, a star of MTV’s ‘The Challenge’, has spoken about the death of former castmate Tyler Duckworth, who passed away at age 44. While promoting ‘The Challenge: Cutthroat’, Bananas expressed feelings of guilt, noting that he had lost touch with Duckworth for a period of time prior to his passing.

Bananas described Duckworth as an incredible physical force on reality television, known for his energy, antics, and interest in gymnastics. Duckworth’s mother, Joni, announced his passing in August. According to the Grand Forks Police Department, officers discovered Duckworth in his apartment after neighbors reported water leaking from his bathtub through the ceiling. The cause of death was not immediately determined.
