Johnny Depp opens first major art exhibition in London

Actor Johnny Depp has opened his first major exhibition of original artworks in the United Kingdom at the Halcyon Gallery in London. The exhibition, which opened on October 13, showcases a collection of works created over several decades, including paintings, drawings, collages, and sculptures.

The collection follows a previous showcase titled ‘A Bunch of Stuff’ at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai. The works explore themes of identity, fantasy, and the human psyche, featuring everything from complex floral compositions to psychological portraits and fantastical figures.

A central piece in the exhibition is Depp’s first sculpture, ‘The Bunnyman’. The figure, which is half-human and half-rabbit, was previously shown at a contemporary art fair in Istanbul. The sculpture was inspired by a drawing made by Depp’s son, Jack, when he was approximately five years old, and reflects a recurring dream from Depp’s own childhood.
