Johnny Hallyday biopic to feature Jean-Jacques Goldman

Actor Jérémy Lewin has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Johnny Hallyday biopic, titled ‘Johnny’, directed by Cédric Jimenez. Despite previous reports suggesting the composer Jean-Jacques Goldman would only be mentioned in the narrative, Lewin revealed he will portray Goldman in a brief scene toward the end of the film.

The sequence is expected to depict an on-screen encounter between Hallyday, played by Benjamin Voisin, and Goldman. Lewin described the appearance as a ‘very small role’ but noted the enjoyment of attempting to resemble the famous composer. The film is scheduled for release on June 30, 2027.
