Actor Johnny Trí Nguyễn has shared insights regarding the artistic choices behind the high-budget historical film ‘Hộ Linh Tráng Sĩ: Bí Ẩn Mộ Vua Đinh’. The film has generated significant discussion following its release during the September 2nd holiday season, receiving both praise and criticism.

Nguyễn Trí Nguyễn addressed the film's controversial narrative structure, which he described as the ‘price of authenticity’. He noted that while many successful ensemble films use a ‘centripetal’ structure to keep characters connected and drive tension, director Nguyễn Phan Quang Bình chose a more experimental ‘centrifugal’ approach.

By adhering to the legend where seven warriors head in different directions, the film's middle section features independent storylines that some viewers found disconnected.
