Johoku Gakuen Junior High handball team secures tournament runner-up

The Johoku Gakuen Junior High School handball team secured second place at the 33rd Tokyo Private Junior and Senior High School Handball Tournament held from August 25 to August 28.

After defeating Josai University Josai in the first round (25-17) and Waseda Jitsugyo in the semifinals (23-17), the team faced Meisei in the final. Despite an early lead, the team was overtaken by Meisei and ultimately lost the match with a score of 22-27, finishing the tournament as runners-up.
