Johor Darul Ta’zim defeats PKR Svay Rieng 6-0 in Shopee Cup opener

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) secured a dominant 6-0 victory over Cambodia’s PKR Svay Rieng FC in their Group B opening match of the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup. The match, held at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, saw the Malaysian Super League champions dismantle the visiting side’s defense after a period of sustained pressure.

Despite several early saves from Svay Rieng goalkeeper Vireak Dara, JDT broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when Arif Aiman scored with a low shot into the bottom left corner. The momentum shifted heavily in the second half as JDT added five more goals. The scorers included Marcos Guilherme, Kevin Medina, Shahab Zahedi, and Muhammad Daniesh, who netted two goals.
