Johor Darul Ta’zim prepares to face Port FC in ACLE action

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) enters their third AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE) group stage match against Thailand's Port FC with significant momentum. Managed by Xisco Munoz, JDT remains undefeated in their opening two matches, most recently securing a 2-0 victory against South Korea's Pohang Steelers. The Malaysian side has won five consecutive matches across all competitions, scoring 17 goals while conceding only once during that period.

In contrast, Port FC faces a challenging period. Led by Bozidar Bandovic, the Thai club has lost both of its initial group matches, including a 5-1 defeat to Kashiwa Reysol. Bandovic noted that his squad is currently weakened by injuries to key players Kaka Mendes and Matheus Lins, the latter of whom requires surgery and is expected to be sidelined for a month.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri on Tuesday, October 27.
