Johor Family Day Carnival attracts over 10,500 visitors

More than 10,500 visitors attended the Johor Family Day Carnival at Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru. Conceived by Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah, the event aimed to celebrate and support the people of Johor through various community, recreational, and family activities.

The carnival, which was also held simultaneously in the districts of Kluang, Mersing, and Segamat, featured several initiatives including a career carnival, health services, and basic necessity distributions. Charitable efforts included the distribution of school supplies and eyeglasses to students from B40 families by Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor, as well as RM1,000 donations to 20 cancer fighters through the Yayasan Kanser Tunku Laksamana Johor.

Additionally, the Johor state government contributed RM188,000 to the Yayasan Raja Zarith Sofiah Negeri Johor (YRZSNJ) to support students representing the country in the 14th HIPPO The Contest 2026 in Italy. During the event, Raja Zarith Sofiah also launched the ‘Royal Johor Art By RZS – Beg Rumah Kampung’ exclusive collection, featuring her own artwork to raise funds for YRZSNJ charitable activities.
