Joichiro Fujiwara announces self-produced stage play for 2027

Joichiro Fujiwara, a member of the idol group Naniwa Danshi, has announced his second consecutive self-produced stage production, titled ‘Jo-no-nichijo 2’. Fujiwara will serve as the writer, director, and performer for the production.

The upcoming play will follow the daily life of a university student navigating the challenges of job hunting, portraying a character who attempts to move forward despite past regrets. This follows his previous production, ‘Jo-no-nichijo’, which focused on a young boy writing an essay.

The tour will consist of 31 performances across two cities in Japan. The Tokyo leg will be held at the Tokyo Globe Theatre from January 24 to February 9, 2027, followed by the Osaka leg at Morinomiya Piloti Hall from February 17 to February 27, 2027. General ticket sales are scheduled to begin on December 12, 2026.
