JoJo Siwa discusses romance with Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa has discussed her unexpected romantic relationship with Chris Hughes during an appearance on the Wildmen podcast. The two met while participating in the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother in 2025.

Siwa revealed that she previously felt “grossed out by dudes” and had initially viewed Hughes as just a friend. She noted that her feelings changed when she realized she did not feel that aversion toward him as a romantic partner, describing him as “the special dude.”

Regarding her identity, Siwa addressed her evolving labels for her sexuality. While she previously identified as pansexual and later as a lesbian, she stated she now prefers broader umbrella terms such as queer or pansexual, noting, “I fell in love with a boy. Here we are.”
