Joju George film Paripadi releases first look and song

The production banner Kavya Film Company has released the first official look and the first single, ‘Paatt Paripadi’, for the upcoming Malayalam film Paripadi. Written and directed by Joju George, the film stars George in the lead role alongside over 100 newcomers.

The project marks the Malayalam cinema debut of celebrated Tamil music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who composed and provided vocals for the song. The single has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu.

Set in Thrissur and Chalakudy, the film is being developed on a larger scale than George’s 2024 directorial debut, Pani. The technical team includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, editor Manu Antony, and stunt choreographers Anbariv. Produced by Venu Kunnappilly, Paripadi is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in December 2026.
