Valencia Basket secures third Liga Endesa victory over Baskonia

Valencia Basket achieved its third consecutive victory in the Liga Endesa by defeating Kosner Baskonia with a score of 84-75. The match was characterized by significant roster challenges for both sides, with Valencia missing Nate Reuvers due to injury and Baskonia operating with a limited eight-player rotation.

TJ Shorts and Neal Sako were the standout performers for Valencia. Sako provided a strong interior presence, recording 15 points and 10 rebounds with a 25-point valuation, while Shorts maintained his leadership throughout the contest. Despite a strong response from Baskonia in the second half, which briefly saw them take the lead, Valencia's defensive intensity and the connection between Shorts and Sako secured the win in the final minutes.

Valencia coach Xavi Albert noted that while the team did not play their best version, finding a way to win during a demanding schedule is highly valuable.
