Joko Widodo visits Cirebon for Al-Busthomi Foundation event

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo visited the Al-Busthomi Foundation Padepokan Anti-Galau in Sinarrancang Village, Cirebon, West Java, on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The visit was to attend a thanksgiving ceremony for the circumcision of the seventh child of the foundation's caretaker, KH Muhammad Busthomi, also known as Ustaz Ujang Busthomi.

Upon arrival, Widodo was greeted with a flower garland by Ustaz Ujang Busthomi and accompanied by the Alman Panguragan drum band and the Paksi Naga Liman royal carriage from the Kanoman Palace. Widodo walked approximately one kilometer to the event location, interacting with local residents and street vendors along the way.

Widodo was accompanied during the visit by his youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, who serves as the General Chairperson of the PSI, and Bestari Barus, the PSI Chairperson for Politics.
