Jolanda Sabatino elected to European Society of Cardiology working group

Jolanda Sabatino, an associate professor at Magna Graecia University in Catanzaro, has been elected to the Nucleus of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Her term will span from 2026 to 2028, and her appointment coincides with the ESC Congress 2026 in Munich. Sabatino currently leads the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic at the Renato Dulbecco University Hospital. Her professional background includes experience at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London, as well as the University of Padua, before returning to Calabria.

The Rector of Magna Graecia University, Giovanni Cuda, noted that her election recognizes her scientific and professional value and supports the university's strategy to attract and utilize high-level scholars within the regional academic and healthcare system.
