Jomi Salerno prepares for Sicilian trip and coaching debut

Jomi Salerno is set to resume competition on October 31 with an away match against Trapani in Sicily for the sixth round of the women's Serie A1 championship. This fixture marks the official debut on the sidelines for Ion Ivan, the team's new coach.

The team returns from an international break during which seven players were called up to the Italian national team. While some athletes returned early due to physical issues, the Italian national squad successfully secured advancement to the second phase of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers following results against Bulgaria.

Jomi Salerno enters the match with a record of three wins and one draw. They face a Trapani side that has earned six points from its first five matches.
