Jon Batiste cancels several August concerts due to personal circumstances

Singer-songwriter and composer Jon Batiste has canceled several upcoming concert dates due to undisclosed “personal circumstances.” The cancellations affect performances scheduled for August across New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Specific venues impacted include the Westville Music Bowl in Connecticut, the TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann in Philadelphia, and Forest Hills Stadium in New York. Batiste stated that while he is navigating these circumstances, his team is looking for new ways to share live music as he rolls out his new albums, “Monk Meditations” and “Monk Movements.”

Ticket refunds will be made available for the canceled shows. Despite the recent cancellations, Batiste is still scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Bowl in late September, and his upcoming shows in Ohio, Virginia, and Georgia appear to remain on the schedule.
