Jon Connor releases The Artist Yahn Freeman series

Flint, Michigan emcee and producer Jon Connor has released new installments in his ongoing series, The Artist Yahn Freeman. The recent releases include the sixth, seventh, and eighth extended plays, which were dropped simultaneously for Halloween.

The sixth installment, VI, was dedicated to the memory of the artist's friend, Mekeva Blackmon. The seventh installment, VII, serves as a tribute to his older sister and professional life coach, Chanel Patton. The eighth installment, VIII, continues the series following his previous work with Aftermath Entertainment and collaborations with producers like KLC.

Across the projects, Connor explores themes of confidence, survival, karma, and personal growth through various musical styles, including trap, boom bap, and soulful rap.
