Jon Favreau discusses ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ film

Director Jon Favreau and Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni have shared insights regarding the upcoming film ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’. The movie serves as a direct continuation of the series ‘The Mandalorian’, following the character Djarin and his apprentice Grogu as they navigate a galaxy where imperial warlords still pose a threat to the New Republic.

Favreau expressed his desire to evoke the same cinematic emotions in new generations of fans that he experienced when first seeing the saga. Meanwhile, Filoni, who makes a cameo as X-wing pilot Trapper Wolf, humorously noted that he requested to have his screen time reduced to ensure the quality of the film, emphasizing his preference for behind-the-scenes work.
