Jon Jones expresses regret over missing UFC White House event

Former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has stated that missing the promotion’s White House event is one of the biggest regrets of his career. In recent interviews, Jones expressed that while he usually does not regret his decisions, he felt he should have been part of that specific card.

Jones, who has not competed since his victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November 2024, suggested that his win over Miocic may have been his final fight. He noted that the performance was significant because it allowed him to share his faith and spend time with his family, stating, “I really do believe that was my last moment inside the cage – and it was great.”

While Jones claimed his representatives were in negotiations for an appearance at the event, UFC CEO Dana White has maintained that the former champion was never under consideration for the card. Jones has not officially confirmed his retirement but indicated he would be satisfied if he never fights again.
