Jon Moxley to star in new documentary and return to independent circuit

Professional wrestler Jon Moxley is set to be the subject of a new documentary titled ‘I Fought Jon Moxley’. Produced by Steve Karel of Stonecutter Media Ltd., the 80-minute film is scheduled to premiere on October 13, 2026, across select theaters and digital platforms. The documentary chronicles Moxley’s career progression from the independent hardcore scene to his tenures in WWE and AEW.

In addition to the documentary announcement, Moxley has been booked for upcoming appearances outside of AEW. DEFY Wrestling has announced that Moxley will return to the independent circuit for their ‘All Heart: Detroit’ event on October 1 at the Lincoln Factory. He is scheduled to compete in a mixed trios match alongside Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir against the team of Carlie Bravo, Shawn Dean, and Trish Adora.
