Jon Pardi discusses emotional impact of divorce

Country music singer Jon Pardi has opened up about his emotional state following his divorce from Summer Pardi. During a social media Q&A session, Pardi described feeling ‘a little defeated’ but expressed optimism for the future, stating, ‘I’m in the tunnel right now and it’s not a cave. I will be out one day!’

In a recent performance at the Country Splash Festival in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Pardi dedicated his signature love song, ‘Head Over Boots,’ to his estranged wife. The couple, who married in 2020, announced their split earlier this year, emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting their two young daughters.

Summer Pardi filed for divorce in Davidson County, Tennessee, in May 2026. The separation comes alongside personal family challenges, including a recent cancer diagnosis for Summer's father, Larry Duncan.
