Jon Poulakidas joins San Diego Clippers training camp

Greek guard Jon Poulakidas is pursuing a return to the NBA by joining the San Diego Clippers training camp. The Clippers serve as an affiliate team for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Poulakidas recently moved on from the Dallas Mavericks following his preseason appearance. During his time with the Mavericks, he averaged 7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14 minutes, shooting 45.5% from three-point range. In his debut season, he averaged 8.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 19.5 minutes across 13 games, highlighted by a 28-point performance against the Chicago Bulls.

The 23-year-old guard previously drew interest from Olympiacos, with club representatives scouting him during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. His participation in the San Diego training camp is seen as a critical step toward securing a spot on an NBA roster.
