Joaquin Niemann wins LIV Golf New York as Jon Rahm claims season title
Joaquin Niemann won the LIV Golf New York tournament at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, finishing with a total of 16-under par. Niemann secured his ninth career LIV Golf victory, finishing three strokes ahead of Harold Varner III, who ended at 13-under par.
Despite a difficult final round where he shot 76 (+5) and finished tied for 41st, Jon Rahm clinched the 2026 LIV Golf Individual Championship for the third consecutive year. Rahm’s season-long dominance allowed him to secure the title with one tournament remaining.
In the team competition, Crushers GC claimed the title. The event also coincided with news from LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil regarding a signed term sheet with a lead investor, intended to provide league funding independently of Saudi Arabia.
