Professional golfers Martin Kaymer and Thomas Pieters have addressed ongoing speculation regarding Jon Rahm’s future with LIV Golf. Reports have circulated suggesting Rahm may return to the PGA Tour in 2027, with some outlets claiming an agreement has been reached involving the donation of his existing fines to charity. However, other sources indicate no such talks have occurred.

Speaking ahead of the LIV Golf season finale, Kaymer expressed uncertainty, stating he has no inside knowledge and prefers to focus on his own career. Pieters dismissed the social media rumors, advising followers to ignore unverified reports and ‘close the app.’

The speculation follows news that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund will cease funding LIV Golf at the end of 2026. While LIV CEO Scott O’Neil noted the importance of stars like Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau to the league, he emphasized that the tour has sufficient support and is working with new investors to secure its future.
